Tralala.gr continues to present you some very interesting interviews from artists that will represent their countries at the Eurovision Song Contest, Europe’s favourite music competition which keeps us company for more than 60 years now.
Next on our list is Malta‘s representative Ira Losco. She is a huge star in her country and her career counts more than fifteen years of success. Ira has performed in over 15 countries and won more than 20 music awards to her name.
The experienced singer has played alongside international acts such as Elton John, Maroon 5, and Akon and is no stranger to the Eurovision Fans as this is going to be her second time participating. Back in 2002, Ira Losco came second with the classical Eurovision song “7th Wonder”. This year she managed to win Malta’s National Final and her fans all over Europe are going crazy for her come back.
Her song, “Walk On Water”, was selected after international and Maltese jury voting during February and March. Juries in 13 European countries, comprising of music industry professionals, listened to 10 songs and decided that this was the one.
She talked to us through an interesting Q & A video – interview, giving us some really honest opinions. What has changed in her from 2002 to 2016? Is she affected by the comments her song is receiving? Who’s going to be on stage with her in Stockholm? These are only a few of the questions she answered for us.
