το οποίο προβλήθηκε από το τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο CBS με παρουσιαστή των LL Cool J. Στη special εκπομπή τραγούδησαν γνωστές επιτυχίες τους οι Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, B.O.B, Miranda Lambert και Bruno Mars. «Βασιλιάς» των φετινών βραβείων είναι ο Eminem με συνολικά 10 υποψηφιότητες μεταξ΄τ των οποίων και το album της χρονιάς. Ακολουθούν με επτά υποψηφιότητες ο Bruno Mars, με έξι οι Jay-Z, Lady Antebellum και η Lady Gaga, με πέντε οι Jeff Beck, B.o.B, David Frost, Philip Lawrence και ο John Legend και με τέσσερις οι Alex Da Kid, The Black Keys, Drake, Cee Lo Green, Ari Levine, Katy Perry, Rihanna, The Roots, DirkSobotka και ο Zac Brown.  Η μεγάλη βραδιά θα πραγματοποιηθεί τη Κυριακή 13 Φεβρουαρίου και θα μεταδοθεί ζωντανά από το CBS.
