Interview | Faydee: «The Greeks are amazing people, who know how to have a lot of fun!»
Well, I wrote this introduction you are reading right now, while I was listening to Ellie Goulding’s «Love me like you do». The reason why I underlined it is that Faydee’s big dream is to cooperate with her. It might be karma and that is why I am looking forward to our next interview, in which I am going to ask him about it.
So without further delay, I present you Faydee’s interview, exclusively on tralala.gr.
Hello Faydee, welcome back to tralala.gr! It’s good to have you here again. What have you been working on lately?
New music! And more new music! I can’t get away from the studio. I’m touring a lot lately, so every chance I get I am back making the music I love. I’m also working on some special things for my Faydee Army!
You performed on stage during the Mad Video Music Awards 2015 here in Greece, together with Claydee, Bo and Eleni Foureira. How was it like?
You know, I brought my energy to the stage and shared it with these awesome guests that you witnessed! It was amazing and I had a pleasure working with them.
If we asked you to name one artist that you want to cooperate with, who will that be?
Ellie Goulding!
You collaborated with our Claydee for your single called “Who” which instantly became a hit. How was that?
It was great! It felt right as soon as I we went to the studio. Thank God the fans loved it as much as we did!
As we are talking about your songs, you released a new single called “Lullaby”, what’s the story behind it?
Yes! Actually I wrote this song when I was touring and I really missed a certain someone. Lullaby to me, is a melody that always made me feel like home and I can never forget it. Kind of like love.
What is your opinion about Greece and our people?
You are mazing people, who know how to enjoy great food and have a lot of fun!
Taking into consideration that you’re half Australian, I want to ask you about Eurovision and Australia’s first appearance on the competition. Guy Sebastian sang “Tonight Again” and finished 5th. Firstly I want to know your opinion about the song, if you heard it, and secondly have you ever thought of representing Australia?
I heard a bit of the song, Guy Sebastian is a talented dude and I can see why Australia wanted him to represent them. Who knows! I would love to represent my country, the question is, does my country want me to represent them?
In your career, what was the biggest sacrifice that you had to make?
I sacrificed my private life, to put myself out there, to do what I love and know that I will be judged all the way through.
What are your future plans?
– I am planning to continue taking on the rest of the world with my music and to give my fans music and memories they will treasure forever.
And last but not least, we want you to send a message to your greek fans!
You guys always show me so much love whenever I come through. So thank you! «S’agapo», I love u with all my heart!!
